Welcome to the 5th ORGANICagriculTOUR! This time our TOUR leaves eastern Europe and is going to the Mediterranean! Different reasons have led us to the decision to take part in the TOUR to Turkey. But our curiosity about the turkish agriculture brings us together. If you see the description of the team you can read something about our different motives.

The Team

As the fifth team of the ORGANICagriculTOUR we shall be visiting five agricultural faculties in the west of Turkey in March 2009. Our project team covers all four degree-courses for organic agriculture science available in Witzenhausen. Benjamin Matoff and Verena Wahl are studying Organic Agriculture for a bachelor‘s degree, Carsten Meyerhoff for a master, Surendra Gautam from Nepal is studying International Organic Agriculture for a master‘s degree. The newest program of study International Food Business and Consumer Studies is covered by Saibjabbor Khasanov from Uzbekistan. We are given support by Daniela Schwarz who manages foreign affairs for our faculty.

As already said, the actual ORGANICagriculTOUR goes to the western part of Turkey. We will visit the universities in Izmir, Isparta, Aydin and Antalya. Here you can see the map as an overview. This link will show you the detailed dates of our TOUR.
